Bicycle Storage
The Lidice Memorial offers free storage for bicycles and e-bikes in the Pod Tribunou Exhibition Hall.
RULES FOR THE BICYCLE AND E-BIKE STORAGE FACILITY
1. Purpose of the Storage Facility
The storage facility is intended for visitors to the Lidice Memorial to temporarily store their bicycles and e-bikes while visiting the site.
2. Conditions of Use
The storage facility is intended exclusively for bicycles and e-bikes.
We recommend securing bicycles and e-bikes with your own lock. If a rack is available, we recommend locking your bicycle to the rack or another fixed structure.
For greater security, we recommend using a high-quality security lock to secure the bicycle frame together with at least one wheel.
Visitors must keep valuables such as helmets, bags, navigation devices, cycle computers and e-bike batteries with them.
3. E-bikes
E-bikes may be stored in the facility.
E-bikes may only be charged in designated areas using the visitor’s own charger.
Visitors are responsible for the safe use of their chargers and must follow the instructions of Lidice Memorial staff.
4. Visitors’ Responsibilities
Every user of the storage facility must:
- keep the area clean and tidy;
- show consideration for other visitors;
- refrain from damaging the bicycle racks or other stored bicycles;
- follow the instructions of Lidice Memorial staff.
5. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are prohibited within the storage facility:
- storing any items other than bicycles and e-bikes;
- repairing, servicing or washing bicycles;
- handling bicycles belonging to other people;
- smoking, using naked flames or handling flammable substances;
- charging electrical devices other than e-bikes, or using unsuitable or damaged chargers;
- remaining in the storage facility longer than necessary.
6. Liability
Visitors store their bicycles at their own risk. The Lidice Memorial accepts no liability for the theft, damage or loss of bicycles, e-bikes or their accessories.
The operator accepts no liability for items left on bicycles or in bicycle bags.
We recommend ensuring that bicycles are properly locked and, where appropriate, insured.
7. Final Provisions
By using the storage facility, visitors confirm that they have read and agree to comply with these rules.
The operator reserves the right to require anyone who breaches these rules to leave the storage facility.
