Information about a short-term exhibition "Hiroshima 1945-2005” that is being prepared to be set up in In Memoriam hall

Three years ago, on 57th anniversary of an atomic bomb dropping on Japanese city of Hiroshima, the former director of Lidice memorial Ing. Marie Tělupilová visited this memorial place where she laid a bouquet of roses from Lidice during a reverent act in the Park Of Piece.

The director then established a friendly relationship with the representatives of the memorial in Hiroshima.

This year Japanese Hiroshima is remembering 60th anniversary of an atomic bomb being dropped on the city and its gruesome consequences.

On the occasion of this anniversary The Lidice Memorial prepared a short-term exhibition "Hiroshima 1945-2005” which will run from August 4 until December 31 2005 in the exhibition hall In Memoriam.
